EXPERT WEDDING & EVENT DESIGN COURSE TO ACCREDITED COLLEGES ACROSS THE U.S.

NEW YORK, NY & ROSEVILLE, CA  (June 23, 2010) –  The world-renowned design icon Preston Bailey (www.PrestonBailey.com) has joined forces with Lovegevity's Wedding Planning Institute (www.WeddingPlanningInstitute.com), the industry leader in certification and training for wedding and event professionals. Together, they will create and launch the first event design course of its kind, and the first in a series of courses, based on Bailey's 30-years of experience with celebrities such as Donald Trump, Oprah Winfrey, Uma Thurman, Joan Rivers, Donna Karan, Liza Minnelli, Matt Lauer, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Ivanka Trump and others. 

Preston Bailey’s Signature Wedding & Event Design course will allow students to experience the step-by-step processes and techniques utilized by one of the globe's leading wedding and event experts, industry pioneer Bailey. This new course is a comprehensive "how-to” for the industry, providing real behind-the-scenes footage, photographs and documentation, including insights into the wizardry that can make a wedding a one-of-a-kind, magical event for a couple and their guests.

Starting August 15, 2010, Preston Bailey’s Signature Wedding & Event Design course will be rolling out to nearly 2,000 local academic institutions around the country, including University of Texas in Arlington, Miami-Dade College, University of Colorado in Colorado Springs and Brooklyn College. Dependent upon each school's administration, the course will be available to both full-time college students in regular classroom environments and adults in continuing education programs. It will also be made directly available to students through an online program hosted by The Wedding Planning Institute.

The full course tuition, including all four of Preston Bailey’s wedding and event design books, online curriculum and community access, and certification exam fee will be $1,195.00. The course will be available in English or Spanish and offer a two-payment plan option of $647.50 each.

For students taking Preston Bailey’s Signature Wedding & Event Design course along with the Wedding Planning Institute’s Certified Wedding and Event Planner certification course, total tuition will be $2,095.00. Payment plan options will be available for the bundled courses.
